World of Concrete 2027 Floor Plan, Measured: 1,490 Stands, Three Halls, and an Outdoor Lot Where the Median Stand Is 1,000 sq ft

World of Concrete is the first big floor of the Las Vegas year, and by September 1 its January 19-21, 2027 plan was already three-quarters reserved. We measured every stand on it: 1,490 drawn across the LVCC’s North, Central and South Halls and the outdoor Silver and Bronze Lots, 1,111 reserved by 1,071 companies, 577,451 square feet of floor spoken for - with 284 stands still available and 94 on hold, four and a half months out. The plan says three things the show’s marketing does not: the Central Hall is where the money is, the North Hall is where the 10x10s are, and the outdoor lot is a different show entirely, where the median stand is 1,000 sq ft and the biggest exhibitor by area is a union.

How we measured this

Every figure below comes from the World of Concrete 2027 published floor plan — the same interactive plan any visitor can open on the show’s own site. The plan stores each stand’s polygon, so every booth yields an exact width, depth, square footage and position.

From the geometry we derive what a booth number alone cannot tell you: how many sides of each stand face an aisle. Open sides set the booth class — inline, corner, peninsula, island — and the class sets the standard display rules: an inline or corner stand is typically limited to about an 8 ft back wall with no hanging sign; peninsulas and islands may go overhead. The show’s own exhibitor manual governs if it differs.

Hall names are the plan’s own: North Hall, Central Hall, South Hall, and the outdoor Bronze and Silver Lots. One drawn space labelled as a rebooking office is excluded. Counts use the 1,111 stands marked reserved on the September 1, 2026 plan; the plan draws 1,490 in total, with 284 available, 94 on hold and one marked private. Four and a half months out, one stand in five is open

World of Concrete sells early and sells big, and the September plan shows it: 1,111 of 1,490 stands reserved (74.6%), 94 more on hold, and 284 still available. The open inventory is not evenly spread. The Central Hall has the most open stands (123 of its 490 drawn) because it also has the most stands; the North Hall has 86 open, the South Hall 65, and the outdoor lots 10.

Open stands skew small - the median open stand is 100 sq ft - but there is real space left: 52 open islands, and the largest of them are a 30x40 at S11051 in the South Hall, a 60x20 and a 50x20 in the Silver Lot (O41139, O32051), and a 40x20 at C7160 in the Central Hall.

40% cannot hang a sign - and 84% of the floor belongs to islands

445 of the 1,111 reserved stands (40.1%) are inline or corner and, under standard display rules, capped at roughly an 8 ft back wall with no hanging sign. The islands tell the other half of the story: 485 stands, 43.7% by count, holding 83.7% of the reserved floor. This is the most island-dominated floor by area we have measured in Las Vegas.

Our sightline model over the plan - a relative model of where people can walk, not a headcount - puts the median inline or corner stand at about 5.6 times the aisle visibility with a 16 ft in-booth tower than with an 8 ft back wall. On a floor where the stand next door is often a 4,000 sq ft island, that is the margin between being seen and being walked past.

Three halls, three budgets

The three indoor halls are not one floor with three names. The Central Hall is the money hall: a median stand of 300 sq ft, an average of 701, 89% of its area in islands, and only 31.6% of its stands sign-restricted. The North Hall is the small-stand hall: median 200, average 315, 40.9% of its stands are 10x10s and 53.7% cannot hang a sign. The South Hall sits between the two.

Overall the median reserved stand is 200 sq ft and the average 519. 347 stands (31.2%) are 10x10s holding 6.0% of the area; 65 stands of 2,000 sq ft or more hold 33.5%. The top 100 stands hold 42.9% of the floor - a flatter top than NAB (48.8%) or PRINTING United (50.2%) in the same halls, because World of Concrete’s big stands are many rather than few.

Outdoors: the Silver Lot is where the iron goes

Fifty-one reserved stands, 66,650 sq ft, median 1,000 sq ft, every one of them an island - the Silver Lot is equipment-demonstration space, and its exhibitors are the ones with something that needs a diesel engine. The largest outdoor stands: OPCMIA at O30169 (5,400 sq ft), Ligchine International (4,800), Diamond Products (4,500), Diablo Tools (4,200), MB Crusher (4,000) and Makita (3,750). Nine outdoor stands were still open on September 1, including the 60x20 at O41139 and 50x20 at O32051; the single largest on-hold space on the whole plan is also outdoors (O40617, 4,800 sq ft).

Who holds the floor

Summing every stand a company holds, the largest footprint on the plan is not a manufacturer. OPCMIA - the Operative Plasterers’ and Cement Masons’ International Association - holds 9,200 sq ft across four stands, indoors and out. Behind it are the tool, pump and supply houses.

The largest single stand is SCHWING America’s 5,600 sq ft island at C5126, followed by Alliance Concrete Pumps at C6026 (5,400) and OPCMIA’s outdoor stand (5,400). The Central Hall’s C5100-C6600 run - SCHWING, Mack Trucks, GOMACO, International Motors, Alliance - is the densest cluster of 4,900+ sq ft stands on any Las Vegas plan we have measured.

What this means if you are exhibiting at World of Concrete 2027

• If you are one of the 445 inline or corner stands - most of the North Hall - you cannot hang a sign, and the stand across the aisle may be a 4,000 sq ft island with a machine on it. In-booth height is the compliant answer: an LED tower or a backlit SEG lightbox reads over an 8 ft wall without breaking the rule.
• If you are on an island, you are on the 84% of the floor that can go overhead. A hanging sign gets you found; an LED video wall running your equipment footage is what stops people once they arrive.
• The booking window is now. At 75% reserved in September, the Central Hall islands go first; the 284 open stands on September 1 will not be 284 in November.
