Built for HVACR exhibitors
The AHR Expo is a big manufacturer floor — its Las Vegas edition (February 2026) drew roughly 1,956 exhibitors. It's a product-display show: OEMs build tall, branded islands to stage real equipment, so the win is clear sightlines to the product plus brand identity that reads from a distance.
- Custom islands with product staging and tall backlit graphic walls or lightbox towers — give working equipment room to breathe with open sightlines.
- Use a backlit product wall and LED loops to explain how a system works — HVACR buyers want to understand the mechanism, not just see the box.
- LED video walls earn their place as a brand/attention element on the largest stands; on mid-size booths a backlit lightbox does more per dollar.
- Overhead identity signage so you're found among rows of tall OEM builds.
Booth sizes & what to expect
A large-manufacturer floor with many big islands, plus inline booths for components, tools and software. Note the AHR Expo rotates host cities year to year — we plan for its Las Vegas editions; confirm the current year's location when you book.

What an HVACR stand actually looks like
We measured every stand on the AHR Expo 2026 floor from the show’s own published plan — 1,561 stands, 1,546 companies, 580,260 square feet. Almost nobody reads these plans as data, so here is what this one says about the HVACR floor.
| AHR Expo 2026 | Measured |
|---|---|
| Median stand | 200 sq ft |
| Average stand | 372 sq ft |
| Largest stand | 5,600 sq ft |
| 10x10 stands | 32% of all exhibitors |
| Cannot hang a sign | 53% |
| Islands | 30% of stands, 69% of the floor |
AHR is a small-stand show. The median exhibitor takes 200 square feet, a third are in the smallest stand available, and 53% are inline or corner — classes that are not permitted an overhead hanging sign. Height has to be built from the floor up inside roughly an 8 ft back wall.
It is also the flattest big floor in Las Vegas at the top: the largest stand is 5,600 sq ft, where SEMA’s largest is 30,000. You are not competing against a handful of giants here — you are competing against a very large number of companies your own size.
That matters for HVACR specifically because the products are physically large. Working equipment on the floor eats the space that would otherwise create sightlines, so in a 200 sq ft stand with no overhead the visibility has to come from backlit product walls and vertical LED rather than from footprint.
Measured from the published floor plan; counts are as it stood when measured and floors move as space is resold. See the method in our SEMA floor plan analysis.
Frequently asked
Can you stage real HVACR equipment in the booth?
Yes — we design islands with the sightlines, power and structure to display working equipment, plus tall backlit graphic walls so your brand reads across the hall. Send your booth size and we'll concept it.
Is the AHR Expo always in Las Vegas?
No — AHR rotates host cities. We're a Las Vegas company and build for its Las Vegas editions; if your AHR year is elsewhere we can still help you plan, but our install crews are Vegas-based. Always confirm the host city for your year.
What's the most cost-effective display for a mid-size AHR booth?
A backlit SEG lightbox tower or wall — bright, clean, and a fraction of a custom island, with swappable graphics you reuse next year.
