Los Angeles Trade Show Booth & LED Display Rentals
LA Convention Center builds, truckable from our Vegas shop — shipped in, installed for you.

How we serve Los Angeles
The LA Convention Center draws big entertainment, auto and association shows. Like Anaheim and San Diego, it's truckable from Las Vegas — we ship in quickly and coordinate the California union install.
How nationwide works: we're Las Vegas-based — we design, build and ship your booth to Los Angeles and coordinate install & dismantle at the venue. Not a local storefront; a turnkey partner that travels with your booth.

Los Angeles splits exhibit work across four separate jurisdictions — one more than Chicago and a different split from Las Vegas. Ordering the wrong labor for a task is the most common way an LA budget slips, because the correction is billed at show rates.
| Union | Owns |
|---|---|
| Tradeshow & Sign Crafts Local 831 | Installation and erection, dismantling, repair, touch-up and clean-up of all temporary exhibits — the booth build itself. |
| Teamsters Local 986 | Loading and unloading of all common-carrier trucks and trailers, handling of empty crates, and forklift operation — drayage. |
| IATSE Local 33 | Theatrical lighting and rigging, audio-visual, camera operators, stage and scenic assembly for general sessions, lighting console programming, spotlights and lasers. |
| IBEW | Provision and distribution of all electrical services at the LACC. |
The practical consequence: your booth build, your freight and your lighting are three different calls to three different crews. Sequencing them badly is what creates standby time, and standby is billed.
The same booth costs different labor in each city
If you exhibit in more than one city, this is the table worth keeping. It is the single biggest reason a booth that installed cheaply in one hall is expensive in the next.
| City | Can your own staff build it? | Jurisdictions |
|---|---|---|
| Los Angeles (LACC) | Exhibit install is Sign Crafts Local 831 work. Check your show's exhibitor kit for what the show permits exhibitor personnel to do. | Four |
| Chicago (McCormick Place) | Yes — the Exhibitor Bill of Rights lets full-time employees build a booth of any size using their own ladders, hand tools, cordless and power tools. | Three |
| Las Vegas (LVCC) | Partly — posters, lightboxes, backwalls and AV placement, but the limit is no power tools and no ladders. | Union house, show-dependent |

Always confirm against your own show's exhibitor service manual. Jurisdictions are set by the venue, but what an exhibitor may do is set by show management and it varies show to show in the same hall.
Los Angeles is a truck run from our shop, not an air freight problem
Our warehouse is in Las Vegas, roughly a four-hour drive from the LA Convention Center. That is one ground shipment on our own schedule — not air freight, not a cross-country carrier, and not a booth that has to survive a week in transit before you see it.
- One consolidated shipment. Drayage minimums are charged per shipment, so arriving as a single palletised load rather than several boxes is a real saving. See the drayage breakdown — the arithmetic is the same in any hall.
- Everything cases. Our LED ships in rolling flight cases, which keeps it out of special-handling surcharges and makes it faster to move on the floor.
- Late changes are still possible. A truckable distance means a replacement part can be driven out overnight rather than written off.
What our LED costs in Los Angeles
Same equipment, same published rates as Las Vegas. Most companies quoting an LA booth will not put a number in writing; we own and install ours, so here it is.
| Item | Buy | Rent per day | Setup & teardown |
|---|---|---|---|
| LED poster (2.3' x 6.5') | $3,200 + tax | $300 – $400 | $500 per poster |
| Tri-fold LED poster | $4,200 + tax | $400 – $500 | $600 |
| 3-sided LED tower (12' tall) | $35,000 | up to $6,500 | $1,800 |
| Curved LED panels | Quote on request | $200 – $250 per panel | Quoted with the build |
Booth all-in in Los Angeles runs about the same bands as Las Vegas — roughly $3,000–$9,000 for a 10x10 up to $60,000–$150,000+ for a 30x30 island — excluding the floor space you buy from the show. The full cost breakdown applies city to city; only the labor rules above change.
