Because we are physically in Las Vegas, the under-one-week row is real rather than theoretical — the booth does not have to survive a freight lane to reach Orange County Convention Center.
The deadlines that actually bind at Orange County Convention Center
- Graphics are the real clock — dye-sub fabric prints in 5–7 business days, or 48 hours on a rush. Lock artwork first; everything else can move.
- Electrical — the advance-order discount (typically 30–50%) is the first thing you lose. If it has passed, order anyway; floor pricing beats no power.
- Drayage — Material handling at the Orange County Convention Center is billed per pound by the show's official contractor (NADA 2027 publishes $1.28 per lb through Freeman, one rate for warehouse or direct freight), so the same palletise-and-consolidate maths applies as anywhere else.
- Labor — Labour rules in Orlando are set per show by the official contractor and its exhibitor manual; exhibitor staff are commonly permitted to set up their own booth, but confirm the show's jurisdictions before planning an install.
- Local advantage — Electrical is ordered from the venue itself, not the general contractor (NADA lists a 120V 5A floor outlet at $173.07), and the West Building's halls are a long walk end to end — stage tools and cases near your hall.
Timing: NADA Show runs each February, and February deadlines sit right after the New Year backlog, when print queues are at their longest — build in an extra week for graphics.
