How Much Does a Booth at AWS re:Invent Cost?
Real 2026 price ranges for renting a trade show booth and LED wall at AWS re:Invent (The Venetian Expo & Las Vegas Strip) — by booth size, plus what drives the cost.
AWS re:Invent is next on Nov 30 – Dec 4, 2026, The Venetian Expo & Las Vegas Strip.
Show services (drayage, electrical, labor) are cheapest at the advance-order deadline, which lands weeks before move-in — the maths is in our drayage guide.
Dates from the official AWS re:Invent site, checked 2026-08-04. Always confirm move-in times in the exhibitor manual.
Budgeting a booth for AWS re:Invent at The Venetian Expo & Las Vegas Strip comes down to three things: booth size, how much custom build and LED you want, and the Las Vegas show costs that catch first-timers off guard (drayage, labor, electrical). Here are realistic 2026 ranges for an exhibit rental at AWS re:Invent.
| Booth size | Typical all-in rental | What that includes |
|---|---|---|
| 10x10 inline | $3,000 – $9,000 | Banner stand or modular kit, header sign, lighting. |
| 10x20 inline | $7,000 – $20,000 | Custom backwall, counter, lightbox or a small LED wall. |
| 20x20 island | $18,000 – $45,000 | Open island with LED wall, hanging sign, demo stations. |
| 20x30 island | $30,000 – $70,000 | Larger island, big LED, meeting space, storage. |
| 30x30+ island | $60,000 – $150,000+ | Showpiece island, double-deck options, large LED canvas. |
That band covers the booth, graphics and show services below. It excludes the floor space itself, which you buy from the AWS re:Invent organiser.
What our LED costs at AWS re:Invent
Most companies quoting AWS re:Invent are reselling somebody else's panels and will not put a number in writing. We own and install ours, so here is the actual price list.
| Item | Buy | Rent per day | Setup & teardown |
|---|---|---|---|
| LED poster (2.3' x 6.5') | $3,200 + tax | $300 – $400 | $500 per poster |
| Tri-fold LED poster | $4,200 + tax | $400 – $500 | $600 |
| 3-sided LED tower (12' tall) | $35,000 | up to $6,500 | $1,800 |
| Curved LED panels | Quote on request | $200 – $250 per panel | Quoted with the build |
Posters join together into walls and the tower's panels build walls too, so an AWS re:Invent LED budget often starts as a poster count rather than a square-footage quote. On these rates buying pays back in roughly two shows — see the LED cost guide for the full rent-versus-buy arithmetic.
What AWS re:Invent exhibitors actually spend it on
AWS re:Invent is a cloud computing & enterprise tech show with roughly 400+ exhibitors, and that changes where the money goes. Fine-pitch LED walls, interactive demo stations, modern modular booths.
Modern and minimal: crisp LED for live demos, branded charging/demo pods, and an open layout that invites hands-on time.
Timing: AWS re:Invent runs each November/December, and November butts against the holidays — anything shipping late risks a carrier blackout, so treat the graphics deadline as immovable.
- Custom vs. modular — a rental modular system costs far less than a fully custom build.
- LED video wall — fine-pitch LED is the biggest single upgrade (and the biggest traffic driver).
- Show services at The Venetian Expo & Las Vegas Strip — The Venetian Expo (formerly Sands Expo) handles freight through the show's official contractor with CWT-based drayage; the Koval Lane docks serve levels 1 and 2.
- Labor — Labor is union-staffed; plan installs around straight-time windows to avoid overtime, and confirm what your team can self-install.
The The Venetian Expo & Las Vegas Strip line items exhibitors miss
These land on the official contractor's invoice rather than your booth vendor's, and they are where AWS re:Invent budgets break.
- Drayage is billed by weight, round trip — per hundredweight, with a minimum per shipment that is usually 200 lbs. Three 150 lb boxes bill as 600 lbs, not 450. The same freight on one pallet bills about 25% less, which is why everything we ship goes in rolling flight cases. Full breakdown in the drayage guide.
- Electrical is priced by your deadline — advance ordering typically runs 30–50% under floor pricing for the identical drop. Get your LED power draw in writing and order early.
- Docks and routing at The Venetian Expo & Las Vegas Strip — Two exhibit levels connected by freight elevators — heavy or oversized displays are easier on Level 1, so flag freight dimensions early.
- Plan ahead — Because exhibits span two levels, lock your hall and level early — it changes freight routing and labor calls.
Ways to cut your AWS re:Invent bill
- Consolidate freight into one shipment. Minimums are charged per shipment, so this costs nothing and is decided before anything leaves your building.
- Design for hand assembly. If your own staff is setting up, the working limit is no power tools and no ladders — a booth built to that rule is one you can install yourself. Posters, SEG lightboxes, backwalls and AV placement are generally yours to do; electrical beyond plug-in and anything hanging or ceiling-mounted is not. See the union labor guide.
- Rent the structure, own the LED. If AWS re:Invent is one of three or more shows you do a year, the LED pays for itself faster than the booth does.
- Lock graphics early. Artwork is the real clock on every rush job.

What it really costs to exhibit at AWS re:Invent: the landed total
Your booth vendor’s quote is one line of the bill. The rest lands on the organiser’s and the official contractor’s invoices, and it is where AWS re:Invent budgets break. Below is the whole bill by booth size, built only from figures the organiser or contractor has published; anything they have not published says so and is left out of the total rather than guessed.
AWS re:Invent sells exhibit presence as packages rather than by the square foot — sold as six sponsorship levels from a 5x5 kiosk to a 40x40 custom booth (Platinum is 20x20); the prospectus is form-gated and package prices are not published; published add-ons are a 10x10 meeting room at $25,000 and networking receptions at $95,000-$115,000 (organiser). The show-service lines below still apply to whatever you build inside that package.

The lever most exhibitors never touch: every extra 100 lb across the dock costs $129 at AWS re:Invent, round trip. A 20x20 that ships 1,000 lb lighter saves $1,290.
What the sources say about those figures:
- Material handling: Published per pound by T3 Expo: $1.29 per lb to the advance warehouse, $1.31 direct to show site, crated or uncrated; small packages of 1-50 lb $65 each; 30% surcharges for late-to-warehouse (after November 16, 2026), off-target and overtime freight.
- Electrical (not published): Exclusive to the Venetian Expo and ordered directly from it; advance discount deadline November 2, 2026; outlet prices are not in the T3 kit.
- Labour: T3 Expo display labour: straight time $127.00 per hour (8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday), overtime $174.00, double time $230.00; show-site orders add 30%; 30-minute minimum per labourer; supervision 30% of the labour bill.
Assumptions are ours, not the show’s: Freight weight is the crated weight of a rental modular SEG or LED kit of that size, including counters and cases; your crate manifest governs and the drayage minimum applies per shipment. Labour hours are total install plus dismantle at straight time for a vendor-installed booth of that size; overtime and double-time premiums apply outside the contractor's straight-time window. Electrical is one 5-amp/120-volt outlet per lit element at the advance-order rate; an LED wall or tower needs its own circuit, which the kit prices separately. Change any of them in the landed-cost estimator. Rates marked as a range are the published range across recent shows at The Venetian Expo & Las Vegas Strip; your exhibitor service kit governs.
